EYHA Mavericks Travel Hockey
For the '25-26 season, we are excited to announce that we will be offering six AA single birth year teams, as well as 10U, 12U, and 14U mixed birth year "A" teams, and a 16U full season team.

PRACTICES
When are practices and how often are they?
Teams typically practice twice a week. Times may vary depending on ice availability. Practices are usually held at Easton, although this cannot always happen due to limited ice availability. EYHA teams have also been known to practice at Ice Works, North, Fairgrounds, etc.
LEAGUES
In Central Ohio, the Metro Columbus Hockey League was founded a couple years ago, and many of our teams have participated in that league for the past few seasons. Alternately, some travel teams opt to participate in the Buckeye Hockey League.

How many games will they play?
Number of games will vary depending on the league your team participates in and what tournaments they may enter.
A typical travel team will play between 50-60 games per season.
UNIFORMS AND FEES
Travel players are expected to purchase white helmets and blue gloves. Mavericks bags, warm-up suits, and shells may be required at an additional cost. Uniforms will be paid for from the team budget. Most travel team fees are set at $3000 per player.
